A two year project to restore some of the antique books at Ragley has been completed thanks to the work of dedicated volunteers.
The books in the Library have recently been restored by volunteers from the National Association of Decorative & Fine Arts Societies, who visited Ragley once a week. The process which involved checking and cleaning each book one by one using special brushes to avoid damage to the paper.
The Library at Ragley is home to over 10,000 books, with a further 20,000 to be found elsewhere in the House.
